Why toddler yoga?
Pre-school yoga is so much more than stretching. When you teach yoga to toddlers, you’re supporting their whole development. Emotionally, children build emotional regulation, resilience, self-confidence and the ability to express themselves. Physically, they develop balance, coordination, strength, flexibility and body awareness. Socially, they learn to share, take turns, communicate and connect with others. And for you as a teacher? There is genuinely nothing quite like it.
What’s included:
- 3 days of live training
- 8 ready-to-use class plans
- Live teaching assessment with personal feedback
- Professional certification – Yoga Pros CPD-recognised
- Ongoing support from Heather throughout
Who is this training for?
Yoga teachers looking to expand into early years and add a joyful, in-demand offering to their timetable, especially those who already teach Mum & Baby Yoga and want a natural next step.
Early years professionals including nursery workers, childminders and teaching assistants who want meaningful, evidence-based CPD rooted in movement and wellbeing.
You don’t need to be an expert yogi. You just need a love of little ones and a genuine desire to make a difference.

From child development theory to hands-on teaching practice, you’ll leave ready to run your own sessions from day one, with 8 complete, ready-to-use class plans.

About your Tutor Heather Deaville:
Assistant Teacher at Sally Parkes Yoga School · Lead Trainer, Mum & Baby Yoga · Pre-School Yoga Specialist · Founder, Mini Movers Toddler Yoga
You may already know Heather from the Sally Parkes Yoga School, where she has been Assistant Teacher and Lead Trainer on the Mum & Baby Yoga programme for many years. It’s through those years of teaching, watching babies grow into toddlers and seeing the natural appetite for movement, story and play, that Mini Movers was born.
Heather’s own yoga journey began during pregnancy and deepened through years of working with families at every stage. She brings professional expertise and lived experience as a mother to everything she teaches, and her belief that yoga is a lifelong practice rooted in awareness, breath and connection (not performance or flexibility) shapes every aspect of this training.
Warm, grounded and deeply practical, Heather weaves movement, imagination and emotional literacy together in a way that is genuinely age-appropriate, engaging and joyful for the youngest learners.
