85 hrs Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training (Residential Course)

Arundel, West Sussex

This 6 day course will run on:  Dates TBC

Timings:  Arrival – Sunday 4.30pm | Departure – Friday 12.00pm (UK time)

Why are we so different to other Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training schools?

  • Our certification is well established and recognised worldwide and can be registered with both Yoga Alliance US and Yoga Alliance Professionals (UK) and FEDANT (Federation of Antenatal Educators).
  • At 85hrs, our training is more extensive than many others and covers not only pregnancy yoga, but yoga to help with birth preparation, postnatal yoga and mum & baby yoga. This is a more cost effective way to get fully trained on the application of yoga for all 4 trimesters, ensuring our graduates are ready to go out and support women on all stages of their journey into motherhood.
  • All coursework submitted by our students is individually read and marked, and personalised feedback is emailed out to each student.
  • All successful graduates are emailed a certificate and certified logo that can be used, without charge, on all of their marketing to show that they are a certified teacher of Sally Parkes Pregnancy Yoga.
  • We also offer a teaching directory on sallyparkesyoga.com, where all graduates are able to get their details listed, ready for potential clients who are looking for a trusted and certified teacher.
  • We support you! Support doesn’t end with the last day of training as we have ongoing support and chat groups via Facebook, where our hundreds of our graduates from throughout the years, keep in touch and offer support and advice to each other.

85hrs Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training (Residential course) with Sally Parkes BSc

This course is fully certified by FEDANT, Yoga Alliance Professionals UK, The Yoga Alliance US, and is taught by highly qualified and experienced tutors.

Venue: Brooklands Barn, Priory Lane, Arundel, West Sussex BN18 0BG

We are pleased to hold our residential training at the wonderful Brooklands Barn in Arundel, West Sussex.

This course is fully certified by FEDANT, Yoga Alliance Professionals (UK) and Yoga Alliance USA, and is taught by Sally Parkes BSc. Her UK trainings often also feature guest teachers.

With full accreditation from the above bodies, our world renowned certified Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training course offers 85hours of learning about all aspects of becoming a mother – from pregnancy, to the postnatal period and Mother & Baby Yoga. Successful participants arrive as students but leave as teachers, with the knowledge, confidence & expertise to run classes and individual sessions which deliver safe, uplifting and effective yoga practices with clients across varying stages of this miraculous journey.

The course offers a strong focus on anatomy and physiology with additional emphasis on learning about the Shakti (female) energy, which plays such a vital role in conception, pregnancy and birth. Students of this course develop a thorough knowledge of yoga asana, mudra, pranayama, relaxation and more meditative elements of yoga during pregnancy.

The course also offers a broader offering for mother’s yoga practice, such as gentle postnatal Pilates inspired methods to support, strengthen and stretch; gentle exercise for health and alignment; basic yoga sequences for mother & baby; and recovery and rehabilitation during the postnatal phase.

The contact hours allow the opportunity for discussion as well as yoga practice, and is completed with an informative talk on how to succeed at setting up and developing your own pregnancy yoga business, with space management for classes.

I couldn’t recommend this course enough. It was really well structured, covered a lot of both the physical and also some of the emotional aspects that ladies may experience during and after pregnancy.
